Crank Seal Replacement Help

Postby lenny_pepper » February 15th, 2018, 1:03 pm

I've been lurking for a while, first time posting! I have a 93 with 76k on the original motor, transmission etc. I run the car in time trials and autocross events and while preparing the car for this season I noticed oil at the front of the motor and coming from the rubber boot around the throw out lever. I've replaced the slave cylinder last year.
From what I've read this means the front and rear crank seals need to be replace, am I correct?
While doing this job should I replace or adjust anything else?

My plan was to replace the clutch, but once I found these leaks I started to think I should have someone who knows more about the motor than me inspect both engine and transmission.

Any mechanics or advice that could help me replace both crank seals, clutch (possibly flywheel), and generally go over the motor so it will be reliable on the track/through the cones this year.
